
Fringe Blueprint
Designing the Blueprint for the world’s largest arts festival
Ahead of their 75th Anniversary in 2022, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe created a bold 5-year plan and needed a public-facing Blueprint to inspire key stakeholders. We developed a stripped-back, two-colour typographic design, using the brand blue with fluorescent ink for maximum impact. Celebrating the original eight performers from 1947, we divided the document into eight sections, each profiled with bold graphic numbers on tracing paper covers. Launched in June 2018, the Blueprint received overwhelmingly positive feedback.
